I have been studying medicine at LMU Munich since 2022, and I am currently in my eighth semester. From March 2026, I will be pursuing my medical doctorate with the FöFoLe fellowship programme at LMU, working in the Wendling lab. My project focuses on prophages within Desulfovibrio isolates of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The aim is to develop a non-invasive protocol to aid the diagnosis of IBD by comparing IBD and non-IBD Desulfovibrio isolates.
